EI Director, Karen McGlathery, will host an information session on the Climate Collaborative program on March 19th at 2:00 pm via Zoom. For each intended proposal submission, the project lead or a member of the research team must attend the webinar

The Climate Collaborative will support large, interdisciplinary research teams in specific localities dealing with climate-related challenges. University teams work with external partners, including policymakers, business leaders, local citizens, community groups, and officials, to co-create climate adaptation and/or mitigation strategies that are based on cutting-edge research and are actionable.

Proposals will be funded at $1.5 million over 3 years, and can include support for personnel (faculty, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, community liaison), engagement (travel, community meetings, communications), and research expenses.

Proposals are due on August 15.
