Faculty and students are invited to a lunch-time lecture by Jeremy Schmidt. Dr. Schmidt’s research focuses on the social dimensions of land, water, and energy, with particular attention to the ethical and political dimensions of human impacts on the Earth system. He will be discussing his book, Water: Abundance, Scarcity, and Security in the Age of Humanity, which details the intellectual history of America’s water management philosophy. This lecture is part of ERI’s Water Futures Initiative: Water Security, Justice, and Politics Work Group. For those interested in attending the lunch-lecture, please register below.
