The Environmental Resilience Institute invites all faculty, students, alumni, and partners to attend a day of community and dialogue at our Environmental Futures Forum.
The event is being held from 8am to 4pm on August 22nd in the Rotunda Dome Room. A light breakfast and networking opportunity will begin at 8am, with Opening Remarks at 9am.
Attendees will hear a variety of brief presentations from ERI funded projects, sharing advantages and challenges of working on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of environmental change and human well-being.
Maria Carmen Lemos, Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the University of Michigan will provide a keynote lecture, entitled The Science of Science Use: Co-Production, Actionable Knowledge and Societal Impact.
The Environmental Futures Forum is also about taking action. Attendees will work with colleagues, and a panel of national experts, to identify strategies that breakdown barriers to team-based research and community engagement.
